Briefing Information: • There is currently limited High Needs (HN) Capital funding available, and a decision is required as to which scheme(s) will be of the most benefit to the LA, SBC schools and young people with SEND in the Borough. • A request for revenue funding from the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) to provide funding for Extended Mainstream School (EMS) is subject to a separate report to Cabinet in January 2025. • The Schools Forum has been briefed on the matters in advance.
