CENTRAL STOCKTON AND NORTH THORNABY BLUEPRINT DELIVERY

The ’Blueprint’ was reported to cabinet and approved by Cabinet on 18th July 2024. The report provided updates on various projects and in-principle agreements to advance works in relation to:

• retention of Splash as Stockton's central leisure centre and investment in extending its operational lifespan
• refurbishment of Stockton Town Hall to accommodate a modern registrars service
• advancement of feasibility works for the Municipal quarter and joint venture between TVCA and SBC
• locating the Council Chamber and dedicated space for elected members in Dunedin House.

Each aspect identifies the necessity for further updates to cabinet including budget allocation. The report will cover these aspects as appropriate.
