For transparency, the Trades Union representative, Tom Zagoria, advised that he was a partner of a Stockton-on-Tees Councillor who was not a Member of the Employee Appeals Panel.

AGREED That the minutes of the meeting held on 14 September 2023 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

RECOMMENDED that under Section 100A of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press & public be excluded from the meeting on the grounds that it is likely to discuss exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of the Act.

The Panel heard an appeal against dismissal in accordance with the procedure for the Panel meeting.
