Subject to the statutory consultation process, approve a permanent traffic Order for various restrictions associated with the ongoing works for the Stockton waterfront urban park including; combining no loading/waiting at anytime restrictions into a single Order using updated legislation on the new road alignment, a prohibited right turn in/out of Quayside Road, revocation of limited waiting / Blue Badge holder bays being removed from the west side, a reduction to single carriageway where the centre reserve is physically removed plus a closure of redundant gaps (prohibition of driving) in the original centre reserve.

Reasons for the decision:

The proposals are required to ensure the safe operation of the realigned and narrowed highway as part of the approved Stockton waterfront development plans.
