To require the person having control of the
premises known as:
1 VANE COTTAGES, THORPE THEWLES, STOCKTON-ON-TEES. TS21 3JZ to
remove Category 1 hazards and reduce Category 2 hazards.
Consideration was given to; undertaking
Emergency Remedial Action, suspending the Improvement Notice,
serving a Hazard Awareness Notice, making an Emergency Prohibition
Order, making a Prohibition Order or not taking the appropriate
enforcement action. As the extent of work is considered reasonable
it is determined that serving an Improvement Notice is the most
appropriate course of action.
