Decision:

Subject to the statutory consultation process, approve the implementation of a permanent Traffic Regulation Order on Mount Pleasant Road in Norton, to introduce no loading at anytime restrictions to complement the existing no waiting at anytime restrictions on the south side between Norton Road and the alleyway, also on the north side for 10 metres from the Norton Road junction.
Also, to revoke the no waiting at anytime restrictions and implement a designated 24 hours goods vehicle loading only bay on the north side,10 metres east of the Norton Road junction for approximately 15 metres up to the alleyway.

Subject to the statutory consultation process approve the implementation of an amendment to the Traffic Regulation Order associated with the Norton Town Centre Improvement Scheme. Approval to progress a Traffic Regulation Order associated with the Norton town centre Improvement Scheme was given on 18 July 2023 and 18 October 2022. However, following recent concerns raised about the provision of taxi bays further amendments to the scheme are proposed. The amendment involves a change in the provision of taxi bays, loading bays and limited waiting parking bays.

Decision:

Subject to the statutory consultation process, approve the implementation of a permanent Traffic Regulation Order on Leven Road in Norton, to revoke the existing on street 2 hours limited waiting no return within 2 hours Monday to Saturday between 9am and 5pm adjacent to numbers 16 to 24 on the north side. To introduce new no waiting at anytime restrictions applicable to the carriageway only adjacent to numbers 16 to 24 on the north side and also to replace the existing no waiting at anytime restrictions on the south side with no waiting at anytime restrictions applicable to the carriageway only.
The restrictions in the layby on the north side would not be affected and the length of the restrictions on the south side would remain at current extent.

Decision:

Subject to the statutory consultation process, approve the implementation of a permanent Traffic Regulation Order for new no waiting at anytime with no loading at anytime restrictions to cover the entire length of both sides of Cleasby Way. The restrictions on the south side between Durham Lane and Sowerby Way would be applicable to carriageway only due to the limits of the intended adopted highway.
Also to introduce an off street Control of Use Order for the new car park implementing pay and display parking charges of £2.50 for 2 hours (no return within 2 hours), £4 daily, £16 weekly (7 days), £61 monthly, or £640 annually and also to enable enforcement of restrictions within the car park and designated bays for specific users only; such as charging electric vehicles, Blue Badge holders or taxis only.
