From 1 April 2025, the definition of a care leaver is defined as
someone under the age of 25, who was looked after from one of the
following North East Authorities under the Children (Leaving Care)
Act 2000:

Where such a person becomes liable to pay Council Tax, their
liability will be reduced to nil from 1 April 2025, until they

associated with the ongoing works for the Stockton waterfront urban
park including; combining no loading/waiting at anytime
restrictions into a single Order using updated legislation on the
new road alignment, a prohibited right turn in/out of Quayside
Road, revocation of limited waiting / Blue Badge holder bays being
removed from the west side, a reduction to single carriageway where
the centre reserve is physically removed plus a closure of
redundant gaps (prohibition of driving) in the original centre
reserve.
